Redemption and Retribution: The 2 Comings of Christ Explained

Pastor Greg Locke delivered a sermon centered on Luke 4:13-21, emphasizing Jesus' fulfillment of Isaiah 61. He highlighted Jesus' return in the power of the Spirit after 40 days of temptation, His ministry in Galilee, and His proclamation of His messianic role. Locke stressed the importance of preaching the gospel, healing the brokenhearted, and delivering the captives. He criticized legalistic approaches to deliverance and encouraged a simplistic reliance on Jesus' name. Locke also warned of the inevitability of judgment and urged the congregation to repent and share the gospel, urging them to prepare for Jesus' second coming.
